RP Underwriting Expands M&A Insurance Offering with US Head of Tax Hire
RP Underwriting, the North American affiliate of RiskPoint A/S (“RiskPoint,” and collectively, the “RiskPoint Group”), has added to the depth of its M&A team in the third quarter of 2022. RP Underwriting is honored to announce the added talent of Kevin Tighe, Head of Tax, US, to its New York-based team. Kevin joins from Ambridge Partners, LLC where he was the lead US tax underwriter.

Kevin Tighe | Head of Tax, US
Kevin joins RP Underwriting with 8 years of M&A tax experience including, most recently, 5 years as a dedicated tax underwriter at Ambridge Partners, LLC. Before that, he was in Ernst & Young’s M&A tax group based in New York. Kevin has underwritten a wide range of US federal income and other tax risks, including Canadian risks and other cross-border opportunities. In addition to numerous stand-alone tax policies, he has led a number of large tax insurance programs as the primary underwriter. Kevin holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
