RP Underwriting Enhances US Claims Capabilities with Senior Hire
RP Underwriting, the North American affiliate of RiskPoint A/S (“RiskPoint,” and collectively, the “RiskPoint Group”), is pleased to announce the addition of Laurel Brewer as US M&A Claims Counsel. Although only launching its underwriting platform in Q4 2021, Laurel’s hire is a proactive step for RP Underwriting to further build out its in-house claims capabilities in pursuit of RiskPoint’s goal to be Your Underwriter of Choice.

As RP Underwriting’s 10th team member, Laurel will be based in New York and joins a broader global claims team of over 20 experienced claims handlers across all lines. Please see below for more on her background and experience.
Laurel Brewer | M&A Claims Counsel
Laurel joins RP Underwriting after practicing for more than 8 years as an insurance litigation attorney including, most recently, at the law firm DLA Piper. Throughout her career, Laurel has handled claims under various lines of insurance, specifically spending the past 4 years representing M&A liability insurers in claims arising under representations and warranties insurance policies. Laurel graduated magna cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and Texas.
